CHEESECAKE:  We have always had gluten-free cheesecakes in a variety of flavors both in the 6″ size and 9″ size. A list of our variety is:

New York (plain, but can have toppings added like caramel, raspberry topping, chocolate, or cherries).

Raspberry Swirl – can add more raspberry for topping

Chocolate Swirl – can add more chocolate for topping

Pumpkin (seasonal)

We recommend that you call us before to see if we have your favorite flavor available.  If we don’t have it we ask that you give us 48 hours notice to get it baked.

All of our salad dressings, jams, sauces, dipping sauces, and syrups are gluten-free.  Why not wander over to that page (tab at the top) and check out what we offer.  We have a huge selection to choose from.

NEW COOKIE:  We have developed a gluten-free peanut butter cookie that is so divine!  The nutritionals for 1 cookie:  152 calories, 10g of fat, 13g carb, and 6 points.  We grind our own peanut butter from dry roasted peanuts so there are no extra oils. They come two to a wrapped package and none of us have a problem eating them they are sooooo good. 

We have had a very exciting week.  We had a staff meeting and we all agreed that we were bored with our cases and we needed to up our game.  With 4 bakers with very creative ideas I turned them loose.  WOW!  These are the new gluten-free items they made.

We have four different toppings for the Gluten-Free brownie:  German chocolate, Peanut Butter Chip, Walnut, and Chocolate Chip.    We just keep getting better and better.

Brownies (thick and 2.5 x 2.5″ in size) chocolate haystack cookies, coconut macaroons, peanut butter cookies (we grind our own peanut butter from dry roasted peanuts,) and lemon cookie.

This is a “dressed up” brownie.  We took two and stacked with whipped cream in the middle and cherries on top. Really good if slightly warmed with Dryers no-sugar added vanilla ice cream on top.  I actually ate this delight after we made it.  It was soooo good!  In my job I can eat what bugs me and this was bugging me sitting there all by itself with no one to enjoy it.

The haystack cookie is made with chocolate, oats, and dry coconut.  These are like the no-bake cookie we made as children.  Now there is a memory that warms the heart.

This gluten-free dark chocolate cake with yummy whipped cream frosting can keep up with the big boys.  We understand the need for chocolate anything, but our gluten intolerants now can have their cake and eat it too.  We can decorate a full cake or cupcakes for you.

  2. You have a lot of gluten free items listed here. Today was my first trip to your store and the only gluten free item I found was a whole cheesecake. I asked about the other items and was told cheesecake is the only gluten free item you sell as you are primarily a sugar-free facility. I’m glad to see a sugar-free bakery, especially one that uses natural sweetners as opposed to artificial, thanks! As a gluten-free and sugar-free person I’d love to see more items made gluten-free too!

    • I am so sorry that you were not shown the other items we have on the shelf. I will have to remind our staff to direct inquiries to the other items. It is the only dessert we have except the pear upside down cake (has sugar.) We have bread, dressings, jam, syrups, chicken tenders, pizza crust, etc. You have looked at the website to see what we have. I hope your next visit is more satisfying. We are working on more gluten free items. Our oatmeal cookies are considered gluten free as oatmeal is not considered a gluten. We also have developed a fabulous peanut butter cookie that is gluten free. I have not worked the nutritional values yet so it probably wasn’t out. Thanks so much for writing and your interest.     • Thank you. I’m new to doing a website and I love how people are responding to it. I write like I talk except you can’t see my hands moving. Maybe that’s a good thing. Keep checking back. I am always putting in new pictures and new goodies. Our opera cake, gluten-free items, bread pudding, and custard pie – all these have a coming out party soon.     • Actually, we have just started making them. They are excellent, but the crust is such a pain to work with they cost a little bit more than our usual. We do them on request.

  4. ——items to satisfy multiple(organic/lactose-free/protien/etc) needs-
    It would be nice if you had a few items that would satisfy multiple dietary restrictions all in one item and attract customers from different diet groups. Its nice that you have a store that deals with low sugar, but the issues i have is the following:
    -lactose free
    -organic products
    -equal protein to carb ratio, if possible. I know that some imbalanced recipes cause me to crave but if it is balenced then i feel full and satisfied. I know in europe they combine some protien items with certain bread or pastry products. i will try to think of what they are when i remeber the details.
    -sugar alcohols: just a footnote for me that some sugar alcohols cause cravings the same as sugar, but stevia and xylitol seem fine to me.

    Just wanted to share my opinions, thanks for reading.
    Could you keep me posted if this is implemented.

    • Hi Ann. We do our best to not use anything with sugar-alcohol. We use a Stevia-Xylitol blend now that Thom King (who makes the steviva we have used for years) has blended and it is excellent. The best of two worlds. I really haven’t studied the protein to carb ratio. Our raw products are very expensive and going organic adds more cost that we can sustain (such as fruit and berries). As for lactose free; taking the sugar out was a huge pain in our necks and we do depend on some dairy products to help with moisture content when we have removed so much of the oil too. We have tried to find the perfect balance, but alas we don’t always make it.

    • Hi Heidi – we buy our gluten-free flour from Bob’s Red Mill in Milwaukie, Oregon. It is made with garbanzo bean flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, white sorghum flour, and fava bean flour. Thanks for asking. Sorry it took me so long to answer you, but I forget that I get messages through the website and I don’t make the time to go check. My bad, but I promise to get better.

  6. Just a quick note in reference to your comment about oats being gluten free. This may be something you already know, but you’re correct that they are naturally gluten free; however, you must be sure they are from a facility that does not produce other items with wheat, or they risk cross contamination, and then would no longer be gluten free.

    Bravo for all the sugar free and gluten free items you’re producing. Looks delicious!

    • Thank you Judy for writing. We purchase our oats from Bob’s Red Mill and they have two plants – one for regular milling and a gluten-free plant. There is no cross contamination. We strive very hard to do our best to provide safe, no aftertaste bakery items for our customers to enjoy.

    • Judy, you are very correct. We buy all of our grains from Bob’s Red Mill. We get the ones from the Gluten-Free production plant. When we bake here we are very careful not to have any cross contamination.
